Every step we take gets us closer to our goal. Our idea is to have a physical store where people can browse our décor items, peruse the aisles, have some coffee, eat baked goods and chatter over the days events. But sometimes life kicks us down and we have to find our way back up. We did not give up our online shop but we needed to think outside the box and make our physical shop still become a reality.
And that’s how my story began when meeting Susan Worthington from Southern Market Shops in Knoxville, TN.
Over the past 25 years, Susan has helped many small businesses achieve their goal of having a little bit of real estate in the retail world. She showcases and promotes a lot of small business. She helps them to grow and succeed. And maybe they want to open up their own store in the future. She demonstrates selfishness and the desire to help other businesses flourish. She wouldn’t be around this long if it weren't for her good deeds in the Knoxville community.
I am happy to say that I am glad to have chosen her as the pillar to my future goals. When in the Bearden area take a look into her shop where she showcases 200 vendors with unique items that will bring joy to your home or your friends’ homes and lives.
Clothing, jewelry, and materials, stationary, food items, home décor, and so much more. There’s something for everyone in the store. In Southern Market events the community support is a great way to show your community spirit because you will be supporting small businesses.
